

The following knowledge/skills and experience is required to be considered for this position: You will support the complete manufacturing cycle of the products and lead the production engineering efforts to ensure that all ECN’s are created and released into the system for the ‘as-built’ condition.You will support the procurement, manufacturing, testing, and warranty cycles.You will be responsible to review the budgets and report on deliverable and financial status once per month.You will be responsible for creating the WBS’s, assigning resources and ensuring that the scheduled release dates are met.You will also be assisting the technical representative in customer and internal design reviews.You will be supporting the Engineering Project Managers as owner of the Systems Integration of the complete product including the respective customer requirements, compilation of the BOM’s and Technical Specifications.You will assist a team of engineers creating the product deliverables as well as supporting procurement, manufacturing, testing, and warranty.In this role, you will assist the Engineering Project Managers to assure compliance of the design to Customer Technical Specifications and industry standards and will provide support to prepare, review, and submit documentation required per customer contracts. We are looking for professionals with the aim to work in the high paced rail industry to build new and innovative designs for our future vehicles. The candidate will have the ability to assist and support the Engineering Project Managers during the design and development phases of Siemens Locomotives for North America region. The main objective of this role is to engineer a customized version of the Locomotive on the platform design with the integration of the required customer specification.
